F is for Focus: Attract More of What You Want
“We don’t experience life, we experience the life we focus on.” ~ Tony Robbins
What you focus on expands. Your brain’s Reticular Activating System (RAS) filters information, highlighting what you focus on most. If you focus on positives—your strengths, opportunities, and what you’re grateful for—you’ll notice more of them. But if you focus on negatives, your brain will amplify those instead.
Example: Have you ever decided to buy a new car, and suddenly you see that car everywhere? That’s your RAS in action! It works the same way with your mindset.
Self-Awareness: Pay attention to where your thoughts go—are you focusing on what you have or what you lack?
Strategy: Start and end your day by identifying three things you’re grateful for or excited about.
Action: When negative thoughts creep in, shift your focus by asking, “What’s one positive in this situation?”
Closing Thought
By training your focus, you’ll rewire your brain to see opportunities and growth, not limitations.
